Howard Deanto Offer Simon Rosenberg #2 DNC Slot

Reliable sources report that Howard Dean will offer Simon Rosenberg a #2 slot at the DNC.

He's doing this because he knows Simon Rosenberg is 25X better than Donnie Fowler and 100X better than Tim Roemer.

Plus ... Howard Dean is paying "Inside Dem Party" people like Vernon Jordan to help make some wise decisions ... offering Simon Rosenberg a #2 slot at DNC is going to appease the K Street / Inside the Beltway Dems / The Fatcat Dem Donors.

So Dinos ... let's make love not war and stick it to the Republicans!

If you dropped the "DINO" crap.

I've been advocating this for a while...and in your little world I'd qualify for your DINO dreck. In my little world, your privileged and unapologetic about it self would qualify for the term.

You want peace, try acting like it.

Reliable Sources? (none / 0)

And who would those be?  How about tossing a link out?

Re: Reliable Sources? (none / 0)

An administrative assistant in Vernon Jordan's office. He's a handler for the Master Dino.

Re: Reliable Sources? (none / 0)

Man, calm down. Someone rightly asked for a source and he came back with a source. Fairly specific on the source I'd say, as well.

Click the link in my other comment. Kos himself disputes this lie

Yeah, but your link only goes to kos saying no. While I think of kos as reliable on these matters, he's not God. might have been better to link to DemDad's "someone close to Joe Trippi."

That said, you're right, there are smell test problems.

if you click the link to kos's comment, you'll be able to click another link leading to DD's post over at dkos (i think it says parent thread or something like that).  you'll see that in his comment section, DD says he got it from someone close to trippi.  then here he says he got it from vernon jordan's administrative assistant.

so not only does he contradict himself, but what if vernon jordan only has one administrative assistant?  didn't he just put somebody's job in jeopardy?

Re: here you go (none / 0)

thx. found it earlier. just thought direct linking to the top of the thread or to the Trippi comment itself would have been a bit more expedient.

What it really sounds like is that DD what to start infighting on the boards.

Re: k (none / 0)

Not being able to keep one's stories straight between posting here and at kos

is a sign of incompetence....

(I mean if one is going to a liar, one should attempt to be consistent.)

This is not to say Rosenberg won't get the ExDir Director/COO position....it just means that such a prediction is about as risky as suggesting that it will probably be a little overcast in the AM some morning in June in LA.

I think it is time for a Rosenberg staffer get the hook and descreetly end this guy's career in politics.

Kos just differed on this. (none / 0)

He said he went to the sources and no verification.  Just read it just now.

Re: Kos just differed on this. (none / 0)

Just came back from Kos and it's true: Kos says he hasn't heard it and I'm inclined to believe he has better sources than DD's.

In other news, the DNC Hispanic Caucus voted overwhelmingly today to endorse Howard Dean for DNC Chair.

DD.... (none / 0)

who are your "reliable sources"?  name them or link them, else we must consider this RUMOR.

also, cut the DINO crap please.  it's really getting old.

however, that being said, if true i am very pleased.  this is exactly what several of us have been advocating for a long time.  make rosenberg executive director.

great idea (none / 0)

Dean is a smoother public speaker than Rosenberg but R has more nuts 'n bolts campaign experience and they have different fund-raising bases. It could work very well for us if they can work together.
by desmoulins on Wed Feb 02, 2005 at 12:40:36 PM EST

This is a blogosphere idea (none / 0)

This is an idea that could only be conceived in the blogosphere, adding #2 position at the DNC is not something I think Dean would do before he even gets to the DNC and gets a handle on how things are run there now.

Re: banned Democratic Dad (none / 0)

After his little diatribe on Kos, I came over again today to get away from his ridiculousness.

His arguments that electing Dean is equal to eliminating the South and Midwest and then equatied this to race relations!!
