I can't watch him anymore - it's a real shame.  I don't understand why he had to take sides so early.  Like Moveon.org.  Why alienate 50% or your watchers or supporters?  Why didn't they wait?

Why do some people have so much difficulty looking at Hillary without preconception?  I miss AmericaBlog, TPM and Dailykos.  Thank heaven for MyDD.

He doesn't even pretend to be objective. It's not what he does. He's not a journalist. He's a commentator. He doesn't pretend to be anything else. What you're saying is that he was fine as long as you agreed with him, but now that he's pointing out things you don't like, well that's out of line.

I NEVER used to miss his show and would tape it while away from the TV. Now that he's joined Team Obama MSNBC I NEVER watch him.

He sees the reality Clinton does not

Keith Obamamann has gone a bit too far in this cycle. Comparing Hillary to David Duke and then saying that she should be killed was pretty much "it" for me. He tries to be one of the boys but he knows that the only place he belongs is on Sportscenter...then again, he wasn't even good at that.

I like Keith & agree with him most of the time, but even I see that he can be VERY overdramatic sometimes.  And the Murrow-esque special report thing gets to be humdrum when you do it ALL the time.

But I was wondering what people think of Rachael Maddow.  I know David Gregory's been around longer and probably had something coming to him, but I can't help wishing she had gotten a show to fill Tucker's time slot.

He was a Hillary Clinton supporter at first. He's allowed to have opinions, in fact it's required, he's a PUNDIT.

But I can understand your frustration. If Obama was way behind in this primary process and Keith was calling him out, I might be irritated too.

He started out very pro-Clinton and turned when she started invoking fear as a campaign tactic.  That is a principled stand, not misogyny.  To invoke misogyny every time someone says something you don't like is to diminish the real barriers that women face.

I used to like Keith, but no more. Yes, I am a Hillary supporter, and the disgusting way Keith slams her night after night, has really turned me off. He also cherry picks poll numbers in favor of Obama. Ever notice he had no poll numbers from either West Virginia or Kentucky??!! You would think he would be more acceptable to a DEMOCRAT but I guess Hillary was never the right type of Democrat.

I have lived overseas for some time and I could only listen to his podcast the last few years.  I loved him at first, but I actually stopped listening to him last fall because his anger actually brought me down.  That said, I appreciate that his progressive voice is very important for all of us Democrats.

Right now, we all need to start thinking about the end of the primaries.  Hillary is thinking about it.  Barack is thinking about it.  We need to, as well.  Their campaigns are obviously thinking about this, as well.

There are several people whom I think behaved in a reprehensible manner this spring.  For me, as a Hillary supporter, KO is one of them.  He is only one person on my list.  

But at the end of this, the most important thing is that the Democratic nominee become president.  Barack Obama is not my first choice, but if he is the nominee I will do whatever it takes to see him elected.  If that means that I must swallow my pride and shut up about KO and some other Obama people for the next five months, so be it.  For me, the movement is the absolute most important thing.

After this is over, for me, it is gloves off until KO apologizes for that disgraceful "special comment" he made about Hillary Clinton.  I will email him about it.  I will blog about it.  I will bitch about.

But for the time being, I am going to be a big boy.  The most important thing is that we DEFEAT John McCain.  Make no mistake about it.  There are Republicans reading our words trying to find ways to divide us.  I won't contribute to that.  As much as it pains me, I'll shut up for now, because I don't want to do anything to harm our nominee or contribute to divisions in our coalition this fall.

Let me be clear:  Keith Olbermann makes my skin crawl.

But NOTHING is more important than seeing our nominee this fall take the oath of office on January 20, 2009.

They now call him Keith Olgermann. Like many others, I stopped watching Countdown months ago, when he started bashing Hillary on every show. I'm sure his ratings have slumped as of late. I believe that both he and Chris Matthews are in love with Obama, his voice sends "chills up their legs."
